Open a file with Less

bash <file Path>

Close a file

Navigatiin in the file¶

Up arrow to move one line up Down arrow to move one line down

f to move one screen/page ahead (space key also does the same ) b to move once screen/page back

Go to 50 percent of the book 50p To check the current position = and enter to return back To show Line Numbers -N and hit enter To hide Line Numbers -n and hit enter To search a pattern after the cursor /pattern To search a pattern before the cursor ?pattern
