Image naming conventions¶

<Registery> / <Account Name> / <image name>

By default, docker looks into docker.io

To know the default registry¶

docker info | grep -i registry

All public images of any registry can be pulled without authentication

Authenticating to Image Registry¶

docker login <registry-name>
